Dubai: UAE requires Emirates ID. One of the most significant changes in the UAE recently is the issuance visas to foreigners. This was done by linking them with an existing ID document, the Emirates ID. Instead of resident visas being issued as passports, Before leaving the UAE to travel to any country outside of the UAE, holders of renewed or new visas are required by law to have an Emirates ID.

Visitors visas are exempt from this restriction. Security guards will inspect your passport and ticket before allowing you to enter the airport. However, only those with a stamp visa, entry permit, Visa card, or e-Visa will be issued boarding passes by airlines.

Although airlines allow passengers to board with their Emirates IDs and passports, immigration will let you complete the process by scanning the Emirates ID electronic device. Emirates ID is required by airlines and the emigration section, even if you have a copy your renewed visa through UAEICP or UAE Pass. https://t.me/newsgulf
