UAE announces safety instructions for prayers in mosques in connection with Ramadan The Covid Safety Rules were announced by the authorities of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) in the UAE.

The security instructions specify all the steps to be followed in the mosques during the holy month of Ramadan, including Taraweeh and other prayers. Guidelines include Taraweeh prayers in mosques throughout the holy month, and tahajjud prayers in mosques across the UAE from midnight on the last 10 nights of Ramadan, subject to guidance.

Believers should keep a distance of one meter between them when performing prayers, including Taraweeh and Tahajjud.
The time for Isha prayer will be 20 minutes.

The total length of Isha and Taraweeh prayers in mosques has been fixed at 45 minutes.
The Taraweeh prayer will begin immediately after the voluntary prayer after Ishaq.
The duration of Tahajjud prayer is fixed at 45 minutes.
Mosque can distribute canned water to worshipers. The practice has been suspended for the past two holy months as a Covid Safety Precautions.
