Eight of their 7,000 employees have been awarded the “Employee Excellence” award for their outstanding service in recent years, giving them two days of luxury living. 

Dubai: A Rolls-Royce car, the last word in luxury, travels around Dubai, visiting Burj Al Arab, one of the largest luxury hotels in the world, and the tallest building, Burj Khalifa. The UAE-based World Star Holding is hosting a royal banquet for its workers on the occasion of World Labor Day, such as staying at a five – star hotel in Dubai. Eight of their 7,000 employees have been awarded the “Employee Excellence” award for their outstanding service in recent years, giving them two days of luxury living.

It was a dream come true for Mohammed Mintok and Abdul Bashar, both Bangladeshis who took part in the construction of the Burj Khalifa. From the 124th floor of Burj Khalifa, you can see the majestic buildings of Dubai with their hands folded. Kuppuswamy, a native of Tamil Nadu, said that while traveling by bus to construction sites several times, he enjoyed the interior of the Burj Al Arab, which can be seen in the distance, like a dream. Imran Khan, a native of Pakistan, was in a Rolls-Royce car on the road in Dubai, where he regularly travels in a Labor bus. Ashok Kumar and Rambhilash Chauhan, both from Uttar Pradesh, had their eyes filled as they talked about many happy moments that they thought they would never experience in their lives.

The infrastructure in this country that we experience today is a reward for the sweat that these workers shed. Nishad Hussain, Chairman, World Star Holding, said: The world-famous Star Star, which previously installed free Wi-Fi and television screens on work buses, has a number of plans in place for workers’ welfare. Thousands of World Star employees are involved in various development activities in the country. World Star workers were active in the construction of the Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Metro, Dubai Frame and the Future Museum. Currently, thousands of workers for Etihad Rail are working in different parts of the country.  

Hasina Nishad, Managing Director, said that productivity can be increased by making the workers who work for them happy. Company representatives, along with hundreds of workers, attended the labor appreciation ceremony and award ceremony held at the Labor Camp office premises in Sharjah Sajja. This was followed by the luxury march of the eight award-winning workers.
