Foreign pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia have not been allowed to perform the Hajj for the past two years following Covid.

Riyadh: The number of pilgrims from each country has been decided for this year’s Hajj. About 79,237 pilgrims from India are expected to attend. It is learned that the Indian Hajj Mission has received information about this from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj. But the Indian Hajj Mission has not officially released the details.

Foreign pilgrims from outside Saudi Arabia have not been allowed to perform the Hajj for the past two years since Covid. Earlier this year, the Ministry of Hajj had announced that the restrictions would allow 10 lakh pilgrims from inside and outside the country to perform the Hajj. Of these, 8.5 lakh pilgrims will be from foreign countries, the ministry said. The quota for each country is set accordingly.
