Muscat: The Ministry of Education has signed six MoUs with various private institutions supporting the Science Festival. The ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Ministry. The MoU was signed on the recommendation of Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibania. The third edition of the Science Festival takes place in October.

Under Secretary, Ministry of Education, with Oman Telecommunications Company (Oman Tel) Abdullah bin Khamis Ambusaidi signed three MoUs. The agreement was signed by Ala Edin bin Abdullah Bait Fadl, Commercial Chief Executive Officer Engineer, on behalf of the company, in the presence of CEO Sheikh Talal bin Saeed Almari.

The second agreement is with Petroleum Development Oman. The agreement was signed by the company’s Director of Foreign Affairs and Communications, Engineer Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Gharibi. Engineer Abdul Ameer bin Abdul Hussein Al Ajmi, the company’s representative and executive director of foreign affairs. The third contract is with Khimji Ramdas Corporation. The MoU was signed by Mahmoud bin Khalifa Alsakri, General Manager, Social Responsibility of the Group.

Other agreements are with Oman Liquefied Natural Gas Company Development Corporation, Bank Zohar, Oman Shell Development Company and Shell Marketing Company. The companies were signed by Majid bin Saeed Al Bahouri, Under Secretary, Ministry of Education, Administrative and Financial Affairs.
