Riyadh: Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Foreign Minister, has repeatedly asked members of the Gulf Cooperation Council to comment on the nuclear agreement with Iran. Prince Faisal stated that Saudi Arabia would like to see the nuclear agreement renegotiated, but with a more comprehensive view and Gulf participation. It was also stated that the proliferation of weapons is not a good thing for the region.
He expressed concern for conflicts and divisions around the world by saying that Saudi Arabia supports efforts to eliminate nuclear weapons from the Middle East. GCC is united in its stance regarding Russia. We have good relations with Russia. It is beneficial for all to keep the doors open for dialogue.
