Air India and Air India Express have announced changes to their services to Kerala due to the partial closure of Dubai International Airport (DXB) from today (Monday) to June 22 (45 days) for runway modernization. All flights from Dubai International Airport will be operated from Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) and Sharjah International Airport. Singh said.

However, flights to Kochi and Kozhikode in Kerala do not depart from Sharjah International Airport. Flights to Chennai, Bengaluru and Goa are operated via Sharjah Airport. Air India currently operates flights from Dubai International Airport (DXSB) to Al Maktoum International Airport and Sharjah International Airport. All Air India flights operating from here (except IA 1884) can carry an additional 10 kg of free baggage. In IA 1884 the additional free baggage will be five kilos.
