Dubai: Roads to Dubai’s tourist destinations are shining brightly. Road development has been initiated to facilitate travel to the major tourist destinations of the city. The road will provide easy access to Al Khudra Lake, adjacent Love Lake, Swan Lake and Flamingo Lake. The RTA said the roads would be opened to the public next month.
Love Lake is a beautiful lake in the Al Khudra Desert. The lake is modeled on the Heart Symbol. Many visitors come here to see the trees planted in the pattern of the English letters ‘Love’. In 2018, Sheikh Hamdan shared a picture of it on Instagram. With the new road, 4,000 vehicles will be able to pass through. At present it was 1800 vehicles. The 23-kilometer cycle track was completed as part of tourism development in Al Qudra.
The Syed Al Dahal Road is being developed to allow more vehicles to reach various destinations. Earlier, there was a single lane road here. Instead, the road was widened to 11 km. The dual carriageway is built on both sides. In addition, three roundabouts were established. This road connects Saeed Al Salam Road and Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. Road development is part of the government’s policy to facilitate travel to tourist destinations.
