Abu Dhabi: GoFirst (GoAir), a flight service connecting Abu Dhabi and Kochi, was launched to help expatriates who have difficulty getting tickets to their return home from school. This month’s maiden flight will take place on the 28th. In connection with the inauguration, rates have been also announced. The fare for the first 10% who book tickets is 577 dirhams one-way and 1250 dirhams return.

On Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays there will be three flights per week. The flight will depart Kochi at 8.10 PM Indian Time and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 10.40pm. The train will depart Kochi at 11.40 AM and arrive in Kochi at 5.15 AM. GoFirst currently offers daily services between Abu Dhabi and Dubai to Kannur.

Other flights

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, IndiGo, and Air India Express fly from Abu Dhabi to all 3 airports in Kerala. The service will now be restricted to Kochi after Etihad Airways Covid. Many airlines fly from Dubai, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah International airports to all 4 Kerala airports. There are not many airline tickets for mid-summer vacations despite all the flights. The price for those who have paid is prohibitive. A stir was also created by the arrival of the Feast of Sacrifice on the holiday season.
