Doha: Doha’s cabinet strongly condemned the remarks of BJP spokespersons in India against the Prophet. He urged everyone to work together and strengthen friendship and cooperation among nations.
The cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa Bin Abdulaziz Al Thani rejects irresponsible remarks which ignore the reality of Islam and its immobility.
Cabinet members noted that the comments made by spokespersons for the ruling party were not only an insult to Islam and a violation the sanctity Islam, but also provoked sentiments from the Muslim people worldwide and were in direct contradiction to the values of cooperation and tolerance.
Cabinet members urged all religions to be respected, and to refrain causing hatred, animosity, and division among people.
Money in transactions: In the draft Cabinet
Doha: A draft law restricting the money used in transactions was evaluated by the Cabinet. These legal provisions were reviewed and the appropriate decisions were made.
Also, the draft laws of both the Judicial Authority (Public Prosecution) were evaluated and taken into consideration. The Cabinet approved the draft Amiri Order for the Establishment of the Police Academy as well as the Draft Act amending certain provisions of Act No. 17 of 2010 concerning the establishment of the National Human Rights Commission. At the Amiri Diwan, Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Bin Abdulaziz Al Thani presided over the meeting.
