Doha: Doha Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), has asked passengers to reveal if they have more that 50,000 riyals worth currency or goods for Doha, Qatar. This should be made clear by all airlines.

Qatari riyals and equivalent foreign currency worth more than 50,000 must be reported to authorities.

Don’t forget to notify in advance

The Central Bank of Qatar must approve any import or export of iyaann Currency worth more than 50,000 riyals. Non-profit organizations should seek permission from the regulatory authority that regulates voluntary activity.

Currency or goods worth more than 50,000 Riyal must be declared at the Immigration Hall at the Arrival/Departure.
