On the sidelines to the Loka Kerala Sabha, the World Press Conference in Thiruvananthapuram demanded that the Dubai UAE development model be fully understood and implemented in Kerala. This topic was brought up during discussions about the role of expatriate media personnel in the construction and operation of Nava Kerala. Sixteen journalists came from the UAE.
