Jeddah: King Salman of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman wished the Muslim community of the world a happy Ramadan. They wished for more progress, prosperity, security, stability and peace.

He also conveyed Ramadan congratulatory messages to Islamic State leaders. Acting Media Minister Majeed Al Qasabi read out the message on behalf of King Salman. The king urged the believers to consider fasting as an opportunity to purify the soul and to renounce differences of opinion.

There must be good works and obedience to God. We thank God for the great success we have had in making strenuous efforts to prevent the Kovid epidemic and to overcome its ill effects. The King said, “We are proud that God has blessed us with the opportunity to serve the two holy mosques, the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, and the visitors to the holy mosques.”
