Hisham Saeed, the Undersecretary of Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that the ministry received more than 35,000 applications on the first day of registration of Mecca domestic pilgrims and would be accepting applications by the 11th of the next month. He said that there would be restrictions this time to ensure the Hajj’s success and the health of pilgrims.

Hajj is only allowed for those over 65. You must receive approved vaccine doses. Those who have never performed Hajj before are preferred. To register, go to https://localhaj.haj.gov.sa/LHB/pages/home.xhtml and ask for permission by entering iqama, date of birth and mobile number.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced that residents and citizens who wish to work in the Holy Places of Makkah during Hajj season will be able obtain work permits via the Ajir platform. Job seekers can use the Ajir platform to search for opportunities offered by companies during the season and then apply for the best job opportunities.
