The runway will be closed for 45 days from 9 May to 22 June 2022 for the Dubai International northern runway upgrade project at Dubai International. Therefore, Flydubai has announced that it will operate flights from Dubai World Central (DWC) to selected destinations. At DWC, passengers continue to enjoy the benefits of all travel services provided by Flydubai. Flights from Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 to Dubai International (DXB) will continue to operate to all other Dubai destinations.

Prior to departure, the airline instructed passengers to check their departure and arrival airports to ensure accurate information. This information is available in the ‘Manage Booking’ section of flydubai.com. Additionally, travelers can check out the complete list of destinations operated by DWC. Passengers are required to make sure they are up to date with the regulations from the IATA Travel Center for their entire journey and to follow the guidelines provided by the authorities and the airline. They can also visit the Covid-19 Information Hub at flydubai.com for more information.
Passengers traveling from DWC will receive free parking at the airport. In addition, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) RTA operates a complementary bus service every 30 minutes between all terminals at DXB and DWC.
