Doha: The National Human Rights Committee expressed concern about hate speech against Qatar. It was also clarified that propaganda being spread during the World Cup tournament has been closely monitored using international laws and the Media Charter of Honor and Everything is myth. Maryam bint Abdullah Al-Attiyah was the chairperson of this committee. She pointed out that the hosting of the World Cup was a landmark achievement for Qatar as well as for all Islamic and Arab nations.
Everything heard is a myth
Also, it was clarified that Qatar is still subject to indiscriminate attacks as well as myths full lies and misunderstandings. All complaints regarding human rights violations are being closely monitored. In addition to credibility, authenticity is also checked. Many of these allegations are unfounded. Qatar has repeatedly called for international human rights organisations and parliamentarians to be informed of the facts.
Access to the country is also granted to high-ranking representatives from international organizations and organizations to inspect human rights conditions. Al Attiyya stated that any representative of the UN or European institution is welcome to visit as long as there’s nothing to hide. Qatar is not going to be stopped by false accusations. He said that Qatar can still enjoy the World Cup, without having to compromise on its culture and norms.
