Doha: Only a few months until the FIFA World Cup Qatar. Wonders from wonderland to resorts, and water sports are all set to get underway in Qatar. New attractions in the tourism industry include Winter Wonderland and Qetaifan Island North.
Through projects that inspire and offer breathtaking sights, the goal is to draw tourists to Qatar. This will allow for new opportunities for Qatar’s tourism industry. These plans aim to provide better entertainment and tourism experiences for the November-December World Cup spectators.
Doha Winter Wonderland
The Doha Winter Wonderland can be found on Al Maha Island, Lusail. Doha Winter Wonderland, the Island’s most famous sight, is one of its most popular attractions. The main attraction on the island, Winter Wonderland is only open in winter, from November through March each year. There are 50 rides and 395 rollercoasters to enjoy. Al Maha Island features a winter wonderland and state-of the-art luxury sights and amenities. This includes Namos Beach Club which is a district that boasts 6 internationally acclaimed restaurants and a 7,000-seat concert hall. It was announced that the island would open at the end of the year.
Fuwairit Kite Beach Resort
Kite Beach Resort overlooks Fuwairit Beach, Qatar’s northern coast. You will find a yoga studio, a gym equipped with the latest equipment, as well as restaurants, pools, and other luxury facilities. The resort was designed to be the international center for kite surfing and is suited to the lifestyle of kitesurfers. According to reports, the resort could open prior to the World Cup.
Outpost Al Barari
It is the first luxury-sustainable resort in harmony with nature. This unique nature reserve offers luxury hospitality, sustainability, and closeness to nature. Khetweifan island North
It is Qatar’s first entertainment Island. There are floating hotels, beach clubs and a waterpark with 36 rides. Merrill Water Park’s most famous attraction is its iconic tower water slide. It measures 85 meters tall and holds the Guinness World Record as the highest water slide in the world. The water park also offers augmented reality technology and the Discovery game with 3D display. The Lusail City Stadium is located close to the island, which will host the World Cup final.
West Bay North Beach Project
The country’s most popular tourist destination will be Downtown Doha. It will include a public beach as well as 12 private beaches that will be managed by hotels. The project includes restaurants, kiosks and 9 open plazas. It also features Wi-Fi, bike and footpaths, parking, a beach-marine sport area and a beach bathing area.
