The UAE government has announced updated Covid-19 security protocols for Eid al-Fitr. Authorities announced the renewed security measures at a weekly briefing on April 27. The public was instructed to wear a mask and observe social distance while attending Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in the morning. Residents and visitors were advised to cooperate with the authorities to celebrate Eid with their loved ones in health and safety. NCEMA also advises people to protect the most vulnerable groups from infection.
Here are the updated protocols for Eid al-Fitr prayers:
