Dubai: Digital mapping shows the “right way” for autonomous (driverless) vehicles that travel on city streets. A system similar to Google Maps will be set up by the municipality to pinpoint locations, routes, and distances.

This mapping is compatible with the built-in AI (Autonomous Intelligence) computer system. The 3D mapping system is able to detect and track the vehicles’ trajectory. For safe travel, the vehicle will be equipped with more than 80 sensors. You can view the vehicle from 360°.

Drivers’ errors can be prevented from causing 90% of all accidents. By the end of the year, the city will test driverless ‘cruise” taxis. There will be 4,000 autonomous taxis operating on city streets by 2030. The 20-level project, which includes the complete elimination of ‘smokers’, will be completed in time.
