The Dubai Duty Free Foundation has announced a donation of 5 million dirhams for a project to provide ‘1 billion meals’. The campaign was organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. The campaign aims to help people in 50 countries, including children, refugees, displaced persons, and those vulnerable to disasters and crises, who are denied basic facilities and rights. Dubai Duty Free is one of the many UAE food aid companies. It also provides relief to the hungry stomach. The initiative provides direct access to food distribution to some of the most backward communities around the world.

Founded in 2004, the Dubai Duty Free Foundation’s Board approved a donation of 5 million dirhams, co-sponsored by Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Coal McLaughlin, Dubai Duty Free Chairman.
