Dubai: Dubai has expanded its district cooling system to prevent pollution. The district cooling system is being extended to more buildings in Dubai. The district cooling system is a technology that lowers the temperature of the building by enclosing it with refrigerated pipes. Multiple buildings can be connected through this system. Can be powered by electricity or natural gas.
More than 17 percent of hotels currently operate on district cooling systems, according to the CEO of Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation. Ahmed bin Zafar said.

He explained that the system, which can cool buildings and heat them in winter without the use of carbon pollution at a lower cost, has been made more efficient by the use of modern technology.
Soon, residential and office buildings and businesses will be converted to the new system. Currently new hotels and lodges are part of this network. There are more than 370 km of pipeline in existence. The aim is to make all commercial, industrial and residential areas part of the District Cooling Network.
