DUBAI : On Eid al-Adha, a second group of Dubai-based debt-incarcerated persons will be released. To pay their debts, the Emirate’s Punitive and Correctional Institutions received 20 lakh dirhams. Hussain Sajwani, Damac Foundation’s Fresh Slate Project launched in April.
Debt-incarcerated persons will Be Released
The funds were received by the Foundation. Officials stated that the prisoners who are released can rejoin their families and have a happy future. Hussain Sajwani stated that they hope to offer a fresh start to all those released to allow them to live a dignified and fulfilling life.
Major General Mohammed Abdullah Al Murr is the Director of Dubai Police’s General Department of Human Rights.
