World’s best nurse announced Dubai-based Anna Qabale, a Kenyan, has been selected as the winner of the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award. The Best Nurse was selected as part of the International Nurses’ Day celebrations around the world. Anna received a cash prize of 250,000 for winning the prestigious title.
Anna, the founder of the Qabale Duba Foundation in Kenya, empowers women through education and fights against harmful cultural practices against women, such as female genital mutilation and early / forced marriage. He also advocates for peace-building activities and for the education of girls.
