Muscat: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry has asked that visa fees for expatriates not be charged. Saif bin Zayed al Badi, head of OCCI Dahira Governorate, stated that he had requested the waiver to the Ministry of Health.
Private medical facilities are currently subject to a 30 riyal charge by Visa Medical. This price includes the Ministry of Health stamping of the medical certificate.
He stated that a reduction in airfares would be a great benefit to both expatriates and companies, as well as reducing visa costs. https://chamberoman.om/
