The UAE has strongly protested the atrocities in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem bint Ibrahim al-Hashimi has summoned Israeli State Ambassador to the UAE Amir Hayek to express his strong opposition and condemnation of the events in Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque.
Attacks and encroachments on holy sites have left many civilians injured. Moreover, the Minister expressed concern over the escalation of tensions threatening the stability and security of the region.
Al-Hashimi stressed the need for an immediate end to these incidents, full protection for believers, respect for the Palestinian right to practice their religion, and the cessation of any rituals that violate the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
