Dubai: The 21st edition of the world’s largest annual airport show kicks off in Dubai today. The airport show kicks off at the Dubai World Trade Center. The conference, titled ‘Global Airport Connects to the Industry’, will be attended by industry leaders, experts and government officials.
People from more than 20 countries will be showcasing their latest products and services. In addition, more than 4,500 professionals from the aviation industry will participate. The Global Airport Leaders’ Forum will be attended by 40 aviation and airport leaders.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airlines and Group, said the conference would be an ideal opportunity to stimulate the global aviation industry. RX Global (Reed Exhibitions) Exhibition Manager Firaz Abul Taif said the conference will discuss ways to overcome the current challenges for airports and the aviation industry’s efforts for airport infrastructure development and operational excellence.
